What Hifi 2008 "Best Stereo Interconnect"
Once again What Hi Fi have confirmed the superiority of the Atlas Equator by awarding it 'Best Stereo Interconnect' in 2008.
What Hi Fi said:
Atlas has followed it's success in 2007's Awards with the Equator Mk11. We haven't come close to finding a pair of stereo interconnects that come close to offering the same kind of value. Its well-balanced, powerful sound is unbeatable at this price point.

"We have nothing but admiration for this revised version of the original Equator. Atlas's trademark neutrality is coupled with improved punch and drive. The treble remains blanaced and voices are clear and authoritative, while crisp edges to notes and precise beats make the most of the music."
The Audiophile Voice. (Volume 11, Issue 1, 2005)
"The Equator cable has no obvious deficiencies in my judgement, and better yet, its primary strength is its even-handed neutrality." "The Equator is easily worth the asking price and just as easily recommended. Take it from me, it will integrate well into even the most expensive high-end audio stystem." What HI-FI "Best buy Hi-Fi interconnects". Awards Issue, 2003
The Atlas Equator gains its second consecutive Best Buy Award, following on from a gong at the same price point last year. And it's because even though this is an entry-level product, both its design and performance are impressive.
What HI-FI "Best buy Hi-Fi interconnects" Awards Issue, 2002
"Equator offers fabulous insight, whatever the music, with solid, generous bass. Rhythm and dynamics are first rate too, while a clear mid range and detailed treble round off a very impressive performance, especially from such a reasonably priced interconnect."
What HI-FI (Five star) Award, August 2002
"These cables really are very impressive. They offer a fabulous insight into whatever music is delivered through them. They punch above their moderate pricing tag too, with a solid generous bass. Rhythm and dynamics are first rate too, while a clear midrange and detailed treble round off a very impressive performance from such a reasonably priced interconnect."

Atlas Voyager
What HI-FI (Five star) Award, April 2003
"Dynamics are vivid and detail resolution is great for the money, while the bass deserves special mention for its taughtness and power. Simply put, the Atlas Voyager is an excellent cable for the money."
What Hi Fi The ultimate Guide #10
"Copper conductors and good quality termination result in an open, even handed performance."
Atlas Voyager all Cu
What HI-FI Award, April 2003
"Let's cut to the chase: this is a great interconnect. Its design oozes quality, while performance doesn't fail to impress. Expressive and insightful, it'll extract every last ounce of detail out of whatever music you play. Its open nature and rhythmic delivery ensures an enjoyable listening experience too.
Verdict: Excellent performance, if you're willing to pay the price."
Atlas Navigator
Hi Fi News, January 03. Awards winner 2002
Atlas cables have amassed years of experience in matching up the best OCC (monocrystal) cable to suitable plugs, and now has a consconsidered range of very high performing interconnects and speaker cables. The Navigator with copper OCC plugs allows for a supremely natural-sounding interconnect that neither subtracts from the music flow, nor adds any false detail or unwanted colouration, often mistaken for 'better' high fidelity. An honest, high performance interconnect that lets music out.

"The Atlas Elektra Cu has that extra touch of refinement that will bring out the best from your audio hardware."
"Still the finest interconnect in the Atlas range, and still a worthy candidate for our awards - in fact the Elektra Cu was named EditorsChoice in the 2004 awards."

Atlas Mavros wins high praise from HFN

Hi Fi news were impressed with the Mavros interconnect and speaker cable. They said:
Naturally, Atlas recommends the use of its Mavros interconnects with its Mavros speaker cable. With both in place the system took on a whole new dimension, offering greater space, depth, dynamics and fluidity. These new Mavros cables from Atlas have the uncanny ability to sound fast yet relaxed, detailed yet refined, fluid yet composed. If they were a wine they would be a Brunello di Montalcino. Enjoy!
Audiopuls Magazine said:
I am still convinced that there is regardless of the price category, no audio component that (can) boast the satus of the best one, but if there is a combination of the interconnect and the loudspeaker cable which I may recommend without any reservations whatsoever for any system at all - then it would be this one. Does that mean it is also the best? See for yourself.
UHF Magazine in Canada said:
After the pauline Viardot song, Reine pronounced herself delighted, praising whetever this cable turned out to be without reservation (blind test). So did Albert, who however reached for more adjectives."It's beautiful, it's moving, the detail is refined. There's a beautiful balance with the piano, which is warm and limpid." Would this cable turn out to be better than our reference? We had more to come. The Margie Gibson recording confirmed the superiority of this cable. "It's magnificent," exclaimes Reine, "her voice is even more detailed. What a surprise." Albert agreed. "And it's not as though it were an easy recording.," he said. "Everything is well positioned in space, timbres are natural, the voice is clear. Everything is there, it's alive.
What Hi Fi said
Accomplishement and refinement are the key words here. With expensive kit, the Mavros works miracles.

In their first review of the new Atlas Asimi, Hi Fi Plus said:
“Taken separately or together, these cables are creamy smooth, dynamic enough to rattle fillings or play at a whisper without problems, extremely detailed and extraordinarily neutral; all of the things you want from a cable with none of the things you don’t.”
“Its hard not to be seriously impressed with Atlas’ Asimi and Mavros pairing. These are two of the very, very best. Plus it’s good to find a truly UK high end offering. Atlas is definitely on the high-end map!”
