Atlas Accessories
Introduction
All component parts and accessories that are provided by Atlas are researched, designed and manufactured exclusively by or for Atlas (Scotland) Ltd.
The Atlas solderless cold weld Z plugs, copper or OCC spades; the non compressing solderless RCA plugs, All Cu XLR plugs, junction boxes and tone arm plugs are all unique to Atlas and are designed to compliment Atlas cables.
All are extensively tried and tested for their quality and are Atlas approved. They are designed using materials that will cause them to out-perform similar products using cheaper construction methods or materials. Atlas' aim is total superiority of quality in all things that compliment Atlas cables.
Atlas plugs are designed as low resistance components.
Atlas plugs use high conductivity materials. Brass is 80% copper. Also employed is pure OFC copper, beryllium copper and Ohno continuous cast copper.
Materials used and the plating employed are corrosion resistant
Most plugs are solder free for a cold weld, air tight interface between the plug and conductor.
