The new Atlas Ascent Symmetrical RCA to RCA analogue audio interconnect is the first of our Reference range of products; it employs an OFC screen with copper mylar to give a 100% RFI rejection The signal carrying conductors are our high purity, grain free OCC copper laid in a concentric fashion and contained in a PEF dielectric. The outer PVC sheath is surrounded in a beautiful grey woven fabric finish.
In the Ascent we do not place barriers from materials of different characteristics such as solder in the signal path; therefore the RCA plugs employed are our unique Atlas solder free, RCA plugs that with four asymmetrical leaves self clean the sockets when inserted so there's never any need to wipe the contacts with cleaner. Simply remove the plugs and re-insert them from time to time to keep the path free from signal deleting oxidation or contamination.
The Ascent RCA to RCA analogue audio interconnect uses separate going and return conductors together with a woven screen. The screen with 100% coverage, rejects RFI interference. The two separate conductors dedicated to the going and the return signals are wired in a pseudo balanced fashion that help to reduce noise in a similar way to that of a fully balanced interconnect. For fully balanced systems, the Ascent is available with Atlas solder free XLR plugs.
With the Atlas Ascent pseudo balanced interconnect, you can hear more. The construction is designed to reject noise and interference. The grain free OCC conductors with Teflon dielectrics improve signal transfer by reducing harmful deletions; with the Ascent cables you'll experience the joys of listening to a big band-width signal.
We recommend you do not use these interconnects with another type of speaker cable that's incapable of taking the big band width signal that this interconnect will provide.

Complementary products are the fully balanced interconnect with XLR plugs, the SPDIF 75 Ohm digital cable and two speaker cables, the Ascent 2.0 and the Ascent 3.5.
Both speaker cables are made with OCC conductors and Teflon dielectrics; the latter of those cables, the 3.50 will satisfy listeners that want more bass from larger speakers. These complimentary products are designed to match with other products in the Ascent range.
Recommended accessories for even better results, are the Atlas noise reducing Shield Caps, Atlas Eos power cables and the Atlas Eos balanced power supply.
Removal of the brass links between HF and LF terminals typically provided on speakers, and their replacement with better quality Atlas links will also contribute to much improved sound and listening pleasure.
Our Atlas range of products has gathered Hi-fi five star awards and superb reviews since its introduction.
